Manchester City have allegedly reached a five-year agreement with Liverpool Colombian forward Luis Diaz.
According to Marcos Benito of large Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, The Citizens are prepared to pay Liverpool €70m (£60m) for his signature.
The move would be a huge coup for the club, taking a key player off a rival team.
Pedro Almeida, a reputable football journalist, posted a cryptic tweet early this afternoon of just the words 'Man City' and the Colombian flag.
Luis Diaz has been linked with a move away from The Reds for a while now with Barcelona said to be interested, however it would appear that Man City have caught the player's fancy and are committed to making the transfer a reality.
However, many sources in England have denied that contact has been made with the player, as well as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
The electric winger has been a key component of Liverpool's front three since joining in January 2022.
The 27-year-old has scored 24 goals and managed 13 assists in 98 games for Liverpool.
Reports are still in their early stages and updates will follow.
