Manchester City's case for the alleged 115 breaches is likely to reach a new end date, as per a breaking report from The Times.
Winless in six, the Citizens are enduring a rare tough time on the pitch at the current moment.
The club, without Ballon d'or winner Rodri, squandered a 3-goal home lead courtesy of Feyernoord in the final 16 minutes of last night's Champions League clash.
Noise continues to mount off the pitch too, with legal experts now telling The Times it is a likelihood an appeal would not reach a conclusion until after May - after the end of the current Premier League season.
This would create a headache for the Premier League, should sanctions be imposed that have implications on other clubs.
A hearing at the International Dispute Resolution Centre in London has been put on hold whilst City and the Premier League prepare both of their arguments to address.
The arguments are not due until early to mid-December.
If City or the Premier League are to challenge the judgement, it would result in months more of delays.
Fans on X are not happy with the news, with one responding: "This is so unfair."
A second added: "They won't do anything."
