The Reds will be looking to bounce back from the midweek nightmare in the Merseyside Derby; Everton won 2-0 at Goodison Park.
Liverpool will be without Diogo Jota, who suffered an injury whilst scoring against Fulham. Thiago Alcantara remains out after a lengthy absence. Stefan Bacjetic is stepping up his recovery appearing in Under 21s matches of late. Conor Bradley is still out with a ligament injury he picked up in the defeat against Crystal Palace two weeks ago. Ben Doak is nursing a long-term knee injury. Joel Matip is expected to miss the remainder of the season after surgery.
Speaking in his press conference, Klopp said: "Progressing well, [but] not ready and nobody told me yet [Jota and Bradley] will start training in the next few days. I think it will take time, a little bit."
Cody Gakpo is set to return to the fold after missing the Everton match due to the birth of his son.
Klopp remained defiant despite being all but out of the Premier League title race. He said: “You see the other two teams playing – Arsenal and [Manchester] City, I didn't watch them but I know obviously about the games – and [they are playing] very positive football, high results. We are where we are in the table because we are able to play positive football. In this decisive area, we don't play positive football – I blame myself absolutely for that. I don't know how it happened but I am responsible for the mood the team is in.
West Ham fans will be praying starman Jarrod Bowen is fit to feature.
"Jarrod Bowen is back training, so there is a good chance he will be available," Hammers boss David Moyes told reporters. "We will still have to monitor him up until kick-off to see how he is, but hopefully Jarrod is back and fit.
"We've got a couple of issues with our centre-backs. Nayef won't be available as he's not ready yet.
"Dinos [Mavropanos] has got a chance, so we will need to see how he is, but again it's pretty tight and is a quick turnaround in regard to the game being played at lunchtime. Hopefully, they will be fine."
West Ham have a lot to play for themselves, the Hammers sit two points behind Newcastle who occupy seventh place which would see them qualify for the UEFA Conference League next term. West Ham have played one game more than the Magpies.
