The Guatemalan political party Partido Patriota has found itself in trouble for using Lionel Messi's image on their campaign posters for the country's upcoming general election.
However, the Barcelona star's management company have quickly moved to distance himself from the political landscape in the Central American country, and could even take legal action.

Describing themselves on campaign posters as "the best team", Partido Patriota is the party of current Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina.
The development couldn't have come at a worse time for Messi, who is set to stand trial over allegations of tax fraud.
