Leaked photos of Liverpool's new away kit appear to confirm an unofficial leaked video that circulated in April - it's gonna be blue

A video that circulated in April has been all but confirmed

New leaked photos of Liverpools away kit have all but confirmed rumours about their first away kit under their partnership with Nike.

A video circulated the web in April, showing the new away shirt’s teal colour scheme with a textured design. And the leaked photos, published by footyheadlines.com have all but confirmed that this will indeed be worn by Jurgen Klopp’s team next season.

Liverpool playing in a shade closer to blue than red is sure to upset a few fans, but this shade of teal has been seen on the trim of previous kits made by New Balance and will also be on the collar of the new home kit, if leaks are proved to be true.

It’s jazzy, no doubt. It’s busy too. But there has to be room for experimentation when it comes to away kits.

It ticks the boxes of what an away kit should do: it’s a very different colour to the home kit. That is kind of the only criteria. For matches when both red and teal would clash with an opponent – Crystal Palace maybe, at a push – there will no doubt be a more neutral third kit.
