Kyle Walker mocked by his own teammate for dramatics against Liverpool

After a 5-0 win, they can afford to laugh

If you’re not following Benjamin Mendy on Twitter, stop reading this now and remedy that immediately.

The Manchester City full back has wasted absolutely no time in endearing himself to his new club’s supporters, both for his marauding runs up the left flank and for his activity on social media.

Mendy just loves having a bit of fun after the final whistle and while his tendency to say whatever he is feeling at any given time has irritated some at stages, City fans can’t get enough of him.

On Saturday, City put five past Liverpool at the Etihad and Mendy even managed to set one up, with a vicious cross from the left-hand side of the box finding Leroy Sane.

After the final whistle, Pep Guardiola’s players were entitled to enjoy themselves and Mendy certainly did, as he took to Twitter to mock fellow full back Kyle Walker just moments after the game.

The Frenchman saw the funny side of Walker’s dramatic dive to the ground following a challenge from Sadio Mane, prior to the Liverpool forward’s red card.

Having already cemented his status as the comedian in the Etihad dressing room, Mendy then turned into a source of news for City fans as he provided an update on the condition of goalkeeper Ederson, who was injured in the incident which saw Mane sent off.

Seriously, get following Mendy on social media. You won’t regret it.
