Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is eyeing up a move for former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi.
The Italian is currently out of favour at Fiorentina after he missed the whole of last season with a cruciate ligament injury.
According to Italian publication ItaSportPress, Liverpool are willing to splash £18m on the 28-year-old, who left Manchester in 2007.
Rossi failed to make a lasting impression during his time at Old Trafford, making just 14 appearances, but he has established himself as an Italian international during spells at Villareal and Fiorentina.
