A potential move to Arsenal for Karim Benzema has been one of the longest running transfer sagas of the summer, but not anymore after the player emphatically confirmed he’ll be staying at Real Madrid today.
And this wasn’t one of your average “I’m flattered by their interest but want to stay” messages typical of footballers either; Benzema didn’t hold back on the people responsible for pedalling the rumours in the first place.
