Juventus are interested in signing Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere, reports claim

The Champions League finalists are said to be eyeing a move for the England midfielder

Jack Wilshere is attracting interest from Champions League finalists, Juventus, according to numerous reports in Italy.

After spending last season on loan at Bournemouth, Wilshere’s future at Arsenal seems uncertain after suffering a number of injuries. His most recent came in a Premier League meeting against Tottenham at White Hart Lane last April where the 25-year-old suffered a broken fibula.

Wilshere played his first game since the injury on Monday evening, representing Arsenal’s Under-23 side as they took on Derby in Premier League 2.

Despite his injury woes, outlets such as Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttomercatoweb report that the Italian champions are interested in taking the midfielder to Turin.

This isn’t the first time the player has been linked with a move to Italy in recent months, with Roma and AC Milan also being credited with an interest over the course of the summer.

Last April, Arsene Wenger had suggested Wilshere’s broken leg would not have a bearing on discussions over a new Arsenal contract. At the time, it had been hoped that Wilshere would be fit enough to feature for Arsenal on their preseason tour.

As of yet, there is no news on an extended Arsenal deal, something which has perhaps prompted the Italian giants to consider a move.
