Jurgen Klopp tempts Liverpool with world’s most obvious come-and-get-me plea

Different managers have different styles. While some play hard-to-get in negotiations, others know that sometimes it doesn’t hurt to lay it on a bit thick.

Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a few clubs since announcing that he would be leaving Borussia Dortmund, but one club seems top of his list.

See if you can work it out from the helpful clues he’s given in an interview with German site Spox

“The Premier League is very exciting. And we do not only think about the top four because there are some other great clubs below them.

“In Germany there is a clear separation between manager and sporting director and I think in principle this is very good. Jürgen does not like to speak to players’ agents or to carry out a transfer. So we have to see which is the most useful arrangement.”

There are a couple of others that didn’t make it into the interview, but here at JOE we got the inside track:

“I’ve always loved the colour red. Yellow didn’t really suit me, I just wanted to fit in at Dortmund.”

“Show me someone who thinks Juan Mata is better than Philippe Coutinho and I’ll show you a liar.”

“Sometimes I like to sing You’ll Never Walk Alone in the shower, it’s just such a catchy tune.”

Will Klopp get his wish, or does he need to be a bit more blatant?
