Jurgen Klopp shows pure class by congratulating Jordan Ibe after last minute Liverpool loss

Fair play to him

Robert Redmond

Jurgen Klopp showed great sportsmanship today, despite watching Liverpool capitulate at Bournemouth.

The title-chasing team went into the game in great form and looked to continue their winning ways as they took a 2-0 lead into half-time and were 3-1 ahead with 25-minutes remaining.
Then came the collapse.
Goals from Ryan Fraser, Steve Cook and Nathan Ake, in the final minute after Loris Karius spilled the ball in the penalty area, saw Eddie Howe’s side win the game in dramatic circumstances.
Following the match, Klopp masked his undoubted frustration and anger at the result, and offered his congratulations to the Bouremouth staff and players.
The Liverpool manager then offered Jordan Ibe, the Bournemouth winger who left Liverpool last summer, his congratulations.

People watching the game were impressed by Klopp’s show of sportsmanship.
