Jurgen Klopp has a German goalkeeper in his sights for Liverpool

Simon Mignolet could be the first casualty of Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool revolution, with the German coach reportedly lining up a bid for one of the world’s best goalkeepers.

Klopp’s compatriot Marc-André ter Stegen is thought to be a target for the former Dortmund boss, according to Spanish publication Fichajes.

Ter Stegen is Barcelona’s first-choice cup goalkeeper, but is thought to be keen on more league action, which Liverpool could promise.

The 23-year-old has played 31 times for Barcelona since joining from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2014, including last season’s Champions League final, but only four of those games have been in La Liga.

In fairness, can Mignolet do this?
