Italian outlet Calciomercato say that Balotelli, whose career has stalled at Anfield, sought career advice from his old boss when the pair met up recently.

Having started out at Inter, he moved to Manchester City in 2010, only to move to AC Milan two and half years later.
Eighteen months on and he was back in England with Liverpool, only to be loaned back to the Rossoneri a year later. AC opted not to make the loan switch a permanent one, meaning Balotelli's future is now uncertain.
