"During the promotional tour the climate wasn't that tense," Aldo told Sherdog. "On the day of the Go Big event, everything he was saying - not just about me but about all the other fighters and challenging everybody.
"He cannot see a camera and keep control of himself.
"That day, he really got to me and it made me mad. But for sure that is not something that's going to affect me in the fight.
"When the cage door closes, I'll transform myself and show everyone who the real champion is."
Aldo's head coach Andre Pederneiras has revealed that he would not back Aldo to beat McGregor in a verbal sparring match but that the Brazilian is going to win decisively in the octagon.
