Speaking to the Roar Sport podcast, Darren Way was asked about the possibility of the former England international playing for the League Two side.
"Don't think I have not asked that question," he replied.
"Do you realise that conversation occurs every day?
"Last year, it's funny you should say that because our set-plays weren't the greatest and we just wanted more individuals to attack the ball so we set up a Skype session with John Terry.
"It was fantastic in the way that he spoke and he's such a leader."
Way went on to say that he believed Terry would one day follow the likes of Lampard and Steven Gerrard into management.
"It's quite interesting now, you see Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, John Terry (and their) career pathway.
"Gerrard has just gone into Rangers, Frank Lampard has just gone into Derby and you never know, John Terry, Yeovil Town manager, if it all goes wrong for me!"Explore more on these topics:
