According to a report in The Sun, Terry has recently enjoyed a round of golf in Portugal with Villa boss Steve Bruce, and is said to be motivated by the idea of helping the club return to the top flight.
Villa, who were relegated from the Premier League in 2016, finished 13th in the second tier last season, despite a big January overhaul. Although it's claimed that owner Toni Xia expects Bruce to sell players before they can buy this summer, it's reported that he's willing to put together a package to secure the services of Terry.
If a move goes ahead, we sincerely hope Villa have something nice planned for the 26th minute of his debut.
