Jim White's commentary of Aston Villa's John Terry announcement is so awful that's it's bloody brilliant.

In case you didn't know, Villa took an almighty risk on Monday by getting creative with their confirmation that they had signed the former Chelsea defender on a one-year deal. A fake WhatsApp group was published, in which owner/chairman Dr Tony Xia told manager Steve Bruce that he had secured a deal with the centre-half by adding him to the group. Supporters winced as James Chester, Jack Grealish and Jonathan Kodjia got involved before Gabby Agbonlahor suggested that Terry was the club's best defender of all time which prompted the departure of Martin Laursen, Olof Mellberg and Paul McGrath. https://twitter.com/ConanDoherty/status/881946717033291776 Just watching the WhatsApp group play out, however, doesn't do it justice. You need an excitable Scot who reads literally everything, even if it's punctuation. Sit back and enjoy Sky Sports News' coverage of the announcement, complete with the following classic lines from Jim White.
"It's done, question mark." "You can see the emojis. It's looking good, in other words." "Gabby Agbonlahor then joins the spoof." "Jonathan Kodjia, well the face says it all. Doesn't it? He's obviously No. 26."
