Lingard's representatives are reportedly keen to let him leave on a free next summer, but United may choose to allow him to leave in January so that they are able to get a fee for the player. West Ham is likely to be a possible destination for him, but a move abroad is also seen as a viable option.
With the Warrington born forward keen to secure a place in England's World Cup squad in Qatar, he is thought to be eager to move in January.
