He didn't pick a corner, choosing to roll the ball straight down the middle. Normally when a professional footballer does this, the goalkeeper has already committed to diving towards one of his corners... but that wasn't the case on this occasion.

As the fellas analysing it say, we've probably seen worse down the years, but we'll have to go a long way to see a worse penalty this season.
