Now it's emerging that Ryan Giggs - the man who was pipped to the post by Bradley when the position became open back in October - is the clear front-runner for the newly opened position.
The Manchester United legend is the favourite with the bookies to take over at the Liberty Stadium, although Jamie Carragher believes that Giggs may not even want the job due to the club's dire position in the Premier League table and their decision to sell some of their best players.
"I think the Swansea thing goes back further than this now," Carragher told SkySports.
"I couldn't believe Swansea sold Ashley Williams in the summer. I tipped them to go down solely because of that. I don't know if Ryan Giggs is available - or if he'd want to go there."It will be interesting to see whether Giggs is interested in the job or not, having been overlooked for the position initially. Either way, Swansea's American owners will be keen to get someone in as soon as possible and the club need to make some purchases in the January transfer window if they are to avoid relegation.
