Jack Grealish has spoken out after returning to the England squad following his Euro 2024 omission.
A hugely influential player, it came as a shock when Gareth Southgate excluded him from his final squad at the Euros earlier this year.
Evidently gutted at the omission, Grealish then returned to the squad under Lee Carsley.
Making an appearance in the Nations League at Ireland in Dublin, Grealish instantly made his mark through scoring.
The Manchester City midfielder was however then unable to play in the most recent fixtures, due to fears of further injury.
However, he has reflected on Carsley's short but sweet reign, wishing him all the best:
"What a guy & manager! Absolute legend and thank you bringing back the enjoyment in an England shirt"
Former Chelsea manager and Champions League winner Thomas Tuchel will officially take charge of the Three Lions on January 1, 2025.
His first games will be in March.
