Indonesian goalkeeper Choirul Huda has passed away after a collision with a teammate on Sunday.
The Persela FC goalkeeper was rushing out to claim a ball just before half-time of the Liga 1 tie with Semen Padang when he clashed with a teammate and suffered fatal injuries.
Huda, 38, was immediately taken to hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving after he failed to respond to attempts to revive him.

After struggling to breathe, it's said that the player suffered cardiac arrest and passed away.
"Thank you for your constant dedication," a post on the club's
Instagram account reads.
"Thank you for the inspiration you gave to Persela, Lamongan and Indonesian football."
A video of the collision has been doing the rounds on social media but we will not be sharing it.
Rest in peace,
Choirul Huda.
