Images of bizarre Liverpool fourth kit have been leaked
What's better than three kits?
No, not two kits. Four! Just in case red, turquoise and black don't cover enough bases for Liverpool, it seems as though their kit manufacturers Nike are lining up a fourth kit to be released mid-season.
And thanks to the investigative work of the good people at footyheadlines.com, we now have a better idea of what it might look like.
Now, this does of course come with a caveat: the logos appear too large to be allowed on a shirt to be worn during games, but that could of course change, or the shirt could be purely for fashion purposes and the players may never wear it.
Anyway, here are the leaked images of Liverpool's supposed fourth kit for this season.
The logo is... really big, isn't it? Still, the lack of a sponsor in the middle (that could of course change as well) does add a slickness to the design.
Footyheadlines are also keen to point out that this kit uses the same design template as Liverpool's black and red third kit, meaning it is more likely to be legitimate. Tottenham's fourth kit - also made by Nike - was based on the same template as their third, yellow kit as well.
There will definitely be a demand among Liverpool fans for this jersey, even if it is never worn in a game. The Nike Air logo and pinstripe detail are sure to make it a hit among fans who want to represent their club but not necessarily rep Standard Chartered.
