Hummel celebrate Denmark reunion by releasing glorious all-white jersey

They're back

This is heavenly.

Hummel and Denmark. They should never be parted again.

The Danish kit designer made a name for itself in the 1980s by creating stupendous jerseys and sumptuous tracksuits for the national team.

The team and designer parted ways for a few years but now they are back, with a white-hot bang.

Fresh off the back of a tidy away kit launch, last week, an all-white jersey has been unveiled.

Hummel chief executive Soren Lund remarks:

“It’s time to make new history and to write new tales – and new tales start with a blank page. For the first time ever the jersey is all white, including our logo, as Hummel is more than merely a sponsor, we are fans.

“So it is more important for us to help underline the beginning of a new era, where the Danish national football team will rise again, than to flash our logo.”

Noble words. Stunning design.

Denamark white jersey

Of course, Denmark aren’t the only country to go with white for their newest kit launch.

Italy have rolled out a similarly understated new away kit, albeit with a launch which is anything but.

Their white-and-blue number was accompanied by some pretty special 3D street art. The past versus the future.
