This is a tad harsh, no?
Despite turning 29 this year, Juventus were happy enough to part with £75million to bring Gonzalo Higuain in from Napoli a couple of weeks back.
West Ham fans got a chance to see him in the flesh on Sunday afternoon as Juve played a preseason friendly against West Ham in their new stadium.
Admittedly, he may not have been at full fitness entering the match but it seems like a massive leap to use the word ‘fat’ when describing Higuain’s appearance during his run out in London.
During the game, the commentator noted that Higuain looked slightly out of shape. Supporters weren’t quite so polite, and took the opportunity to have a go at the 28-year-old.
