Henrik Larsson’s son has no time for rumours linking him to Rangers

Like father, like son.

We certainly know who Jordan Larsson won’t be playing for come the close of the transfer window.

A forward with tremendous potential, Larsson (the son of Celtic legend Henrik) has a number of watchful eyes monitoring his progress through the ranks at Helsingborg, the club at which his father is also manager.

His impressive displays coupled with his family name mean he was always going to attract attention from abroad, with a link to the Scottish Premier League somewhat inevitable.

But things quickly escalated into ridiculousness when Larsson was said to be considering a move to Glasgow, but not for the team where his dad made himself a legend.

No, the younger Larsson was mentioned as a possible signing for Celtic’s arch-rivals Rangers upon their return to the top tier of Scottish football.

Sure, we’ve seen players make moves we previously thought unthinkable, but Bhoys fans need not worry about cheering against the son of a legend as the gossip was dismissed right from the horse’s mouth

The 20-year-old striker responded to the transfer talk by literally laughing at the prospect.

He understandably came in for some criticism from Rangers fans who didn’t appreciate the playful dig but he maintained cool, calm and collected… Just like his father was in front of goal.
