It is sooner than expected

The hearing date over Manchester City’s alleged 115 breaches has been set and it is sooner than anticipated.

City have been accused of financial irregularities over nine years from 2009 and the biggest punishment if found guilty is relegation.

Points deductions and fines are also possible penalties.

The League has previously charged City with a failure to provide accurate financial information and a failure to provide accurate details for players and manager payments.

And now it has been announced as per Mail Sport that the hearing date is reportedly on Monday.

It was previously reported that the hearing would begin in September and now it is just a matter of days.

City are currently on the charge for their fifth-successive title after a faultless start to the season.

Erling Haaland has already began the campaign in his usual terrific form – bagging back-to-back hat-tricks versus West Ham United and Ipswich Town.

Manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that ‘pre season was over’, despite a terrific start to the season. Scary.

Guardiola’s side also want to reclaim the elusive Champions League, after they first won the most sought-after prize in club football during the 2022/23 season.
