With just 100 days to go until the Rio Olympics, we’re starting to get our first look at what the British athletes will look like.

Team GB released the kits for their various competitors for this summer’s games, but it’s the rugby shirts that caught our eye.

Rugby sevens will be played at the Olympics for the first time ever, and Team GB will be looking fierce in these impressive new kits.

Featuring the Royal Badge over a union flag, Adidas have done a top job for rugby’s debut at the Olympics as they have created both home and away designs for this summer.

Both kits will be worn by the men’s and women’s teams this August as rugby sevens takes its biggest step forward yet to challenging league and union.

Fans were curious to see what this summer’s kit would look like, with comparisons to the British and Irish Lions’ gear inevitable.

Australia v British & Irish Lions: Game 1

The Lions travel to New Zealand next year after a successful 2013 tour, but Adidas have sent a message of what they will be missing as the Lions have switched to Canterbury for the 2017 tour.

Eager British fans were impressed with this year’s offering.

British and Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton shared the image too, although we’d be surprised if he were to feature in Rio.
