Murray suffered a nasty clash of heads that left him unconscious
Glenn Murray has provided an update on his wellbeing after suffering a gruesome head injury during Brighton's win over Newcastle on Saturday.
Murray collided with Federico Fernandez in the air, leaving the Brighton man concussed and unconscious on the floor. He was then stretchered off after receiving treatment from the Brighton medical staff.
The 35-year-old today took to Twitter to reassure fans that he was recovering well, saying that he was "feeling much better this morning after yesterday’s events."

Murray already has five Premier League goals for Brighton this season, continuing his excellent form from last season for the club where he made a name for himself in the football league.
The news of his fast recovery will come as a relief to Seagulls fans, who idolise Murray despite his four year spell at arch rivals Crystal Palace.
The Premier League set out guidelines in 2014 stating that any player who suffers from concussion should not play any competitive matches for at least six days, but with seven day gap between the Newcastle match and Brighton's next fixture against Wolves, Murray should not miss any games.
