Gianluigi Donnarumma responds after breaking down in tears over AC Milan fans’ banner

AC Milan fans don't mess about when letting a player know what they think of them.

That was certainly the case in the San Siro on Wednesday night, when some of them unfurled a huge banner taking aim at goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma. The 18-year-old, who has been a regular starter for the club for much of the last couple of years, had been the subject of transfer rumours  last summer before eventually inking a new contract in July. However, it was alleged this week that Donnarumma had instructed his agent Mino Raiola to cancel his deal with the club. Other reports in Italy claim he's looking to activate a clause which would enable him to leave on a free after feeling 'psychologically pressured' into signing the contract. The banner read: 'Psychological violence by giving you €6million-a-season & signing your parasite brother? It's time to leave... our patience with you is over!'
