Germany’s Euro 2016 away jersey is pretty horrible…

While we’re not sure about the timing of this kit launch (why not wait until the qualifiers are over?), that isn’t really the most important consideration.

What we really want to know is what the hell Adidas and Germany were thinking…

Muddy green sleeves with two-tone grey stripes down the torso? Madness. Utter madness.

Here’s some of the hopeful marketing spin on a horrendous shirt…

‘Mainly dark grey with subtle hoops, combined with neon green applications and hi-vis yellow details, drawing inspiration from street football… The new jersey can be reversed to boast the striking main color neon green, designed to be used as a bib.

‘The back of the neckline shows the writing “Bolzen. Pöhlen” (German words for street football).’
