Gary Neville has always been a committed kind of guy.
Whatever he’s doing, he goes all in.
Even his Twitter bio reads “Attack the day”.
When he was playing for Manchester United he really was Mr Man United – no one was more committed to the club on or off the pitch than him – even to the point where he was happy to wilfully ignore an old friend lest it shake his focus.
It was the same when he was playing for England, or when he’s running the club he owns with fellow Class of 92 graduates Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and brother Phil Neville.
And it seems he so committed to his Sky Sport duties that he’d rather break the law than watch a rival broadcaster.
After making some comments about the match, he was asked if he was watching it on BT Sport.
His reply?

However Gary is watching the match, he won’t be enjoying it – after a slow start, and despite Odion Ighalo missing an open goal early in the game, Watford led Manchester United 1-0 at half time thanks to an Etienne Capoue goal, before Marcus Rashford pulled one back in the second half.
