It means that the Leicester City fairytale can continue for now, and the Foxes' most famous supporter was unsurprisingly thrilled with the announcement that their top scorer and the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year would be sticking around for the foreseeable future.
Minutes after the new deal was made public, former Leicester City striker Gary Lineker took to Twitter to express his joy, praising the display of loyalty from Vardy and the ambition of his boyhood club.
