According to Don Balon, Barcelona are also sniffing around 17-year-old Woodburn, who became Liverpool's youngest ever scorer earlier in the season when he scored in the League Cup win over Leeds. The report claims that Bale, one of his international teammates, has warned the European champions to make a move for the youngster ahead of their great El Clasico rivals.
Needless to say, there are absolutely no quotes in the report, and the thought of Liverpool allowing the Spanish giants to make a move for one of their most exciting youth products in years seems a bit far-fetched.
