It took less than 45 minutes for Steven Gerrard to prove his worth for LA Galaxy.

The Liverpool legend had a dream start to his Californian campaign opening his score sheet in the 37th minute. Watch the sweet curling shot he buried past the defence of rivals San Jose Earthquakes... https://twitter.com/ESPNFC/status/622253747528462336 And it didn't stop there, Stevie G, who has signed for $6,332,504, also won a penalty, hit the bar and assisted the second goal in a Robbie Keane hat-trick in his first match in the North American domestic league. Former West Ham star Sebastian Lletget joined Gerrard and Keane on the score sheet, who are already showing signs of being the most formidable duo in the MLS. Galaxy, watched by David Beckham, came from 2-0 down to win 5-2.
