Former Sheffield United and Harrogate Town defender Terry Kennedy has been filmed celebrating the moment he found out that he had won £1million on the lottery.
The 27-year-old was forced to retire early from being a full-time footballer due to persistent injury problems.
Video footage of the moment his lottery win was confirmed was uploaded to social media, with Kennedy - who celebrated his birthday on Monday - anxiously gripping his winning ticket as he listens to confirmation from a member of lottery staff over the phone.
Once his seven-figure win had been confirmed, it was met with celebrations from his co-workers - who were listening to the conversation with the phone on loudspeaker.
Kennedy was in understandable shock following the news, remaining in his chair while leaning back and looking up at the ceiling.

Kennedy partnered England international and Manchester United defender Harry Maguire in central defence for the Blades’ youth side, and was highly-rated by former manager Nigel Clough.
He made his debut for Sheffield Utd in 2011 in a 4-0 defeat against Swansea in the Championship, starting 10 times in the 2014/15 season under Clough.
Following his time in Sheffield, he left the club to join local side Alfreton Town in 2016.
After his move to the Reds, the Barnsley-born player joined Harrogate Town, later making the switch to Guiseley a year later.
