Former Liverpool, West Ham United and Cameroon defender Rigobert Song is reportedly fighting for his life after being rushed to hospital in Yaounde.

The 40-year-old, uncle of former Arsenal, West Ham and Charlton midfielder Alex, suffered a stroke and has been placed under observation, according to local reports from Cameroon-Info.net and CamFoot. Former clubs have sent well-wishes the way of the popular ex-player, who won more than 100 Cameroon caps in his playing days.
