It seems like a long time ago when journalist Sara Carbonero was strangely labeled as the cause of Spain's opening day defeat to Switzerland at World Cup 2010. Certain people felt that her presence behind the goal was distracting her boyfriend Iker Casillas as the eventual world champions ended up with egg on their face thanks to Gelson Fernandes' goal.
A lot has changed since then, Spain went on to become the greatest international side of all-time while Casillas was privy to a
wonderful, warm and fuzzy fractured relationship with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
Casillas has since joined Porto but it seems that his girlfriend is still making the headlines, this time for her unique sense of humour.
The journalist has just joined
Instagram and much like Casillas' clanger during Spain's collapse against Chile in the 2014 World Cup, she chose a pretty embarrassing moment for the whole world to see.
Fair play to her though because she seems like she's well able to laugh at herself.
