St. George's Day may not be as big as St. Patrick's Day, St. Andrew's Day or St. David's Day, but there will still be plenty of Englishmen having a beer - or doing any of these things - to celebrate on Thursday evening.

And judging by these tweets, a few well known footballers will be joining in the revelry (or not) after proudly declaring their Englishness. Peter Crouch opted for an understated hashtag... https://twitter.com/petercrouch/status/591167114691633152 While Jack Wilshere was a little more enthusiastic in his patriotism... https://twitter.com/jackwilshere/status/591241607380393984 Ian Wright shared a photo of him belting out the national anthem for the Three Lions... https://twitter.com/ianwright0/status/591179338302754816 And the strangest St. George's Day tweet has to go to Bayern Munich defender Dante, who wrote: https://twitter.com/dante_bonfim/status/591181735334903808
