We've got the Ballon d'Or. We've got the Puskas Award. When are we going to start rewarding shithousery?
Sure, Sergio Ramos and Pepe are going to find themselves in a kind of Ronaldo vs. Messi duopoly for the honour each year but there's a new candidate this season.
Step forward, Raul Rusescu.
Tension was at breaking point during Thursday night's Europa League qualification play-off between Rapid Wien and Steaua Bucharest when Rusescu showed up to prove himself a hero.
No, he didn't find the net as the hosts chased a late equaliser but he pulled off an act that made us literally laugh out loud.

After Rapid Wien manager Goran Djuricin attempted to pass on some instructions to his players in the hope that they would defend their 4-3 aggregate lead, Rusescu ensured that the note would not be read by its desired target.
The Romanian midfielder cheekily snatched the paper from opponent, Stefan Schwab, before scrunching it up and disposing of it.
Schwab did get the last laugh, however, as Rapid Wien saw the game out and earned a place in Group G of the Europa League, where they will face Rangers, Villarreal and Spartak Moscow in the coming months.
