The Irish cup game between Athlone Town and Sheriff YC produced one of the most ‘WTF’ moments of the year.
It’s nothing to do with anything on the pitch, but rather an incident in the dressing rooms, where one of the Athlone players was stuck for a whole 30 minutes.
Madness…one of this Athlone Town squad has just entered the pitch area having been locked in the dressing room for the 1st 30 mins!!!
