Those who were watching the game struggled to enjoy it, however, because of a controversial kit clash between the teams.
West Brom were kitted out in their navy and white stripes, with white shorts, while the visitors sported their home strip which consists of a white shirt and navy shorts.
Even referee Mike Jones was put off by the similarity between the kits and seemingly asked Spurs to change to a different strip but neither of the London side's alternative options would have been ideal either.
It made for a tough viewing experience but Baggies fans won't be all that bothered by it, having added a much-needed three points to their tally.
