Two of Arsenal fans' favourite midfielders will not be with the club next season.
Both Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere are preparing for a new challenge for the coming campaign after their respective contracts at the Emirates came to an end.
Cazorla has been training with former club Villarreal since the Gunners decided against renewing his deal following a series of injuries and the Spanish midfielder has urged Wilshere to join him in Spain.
On Tuesday evening, Wilshere confirmed that his 17-year association with Arsenal had come to an end after failing to come to an agreement with new manager Unai Emery.
"Following a number of extensive conversations with those at the club, and in particular a recent meeting with the new manager Unai Emery, I felt that I was ultimately left with little choice but to make the decision that I have due to purely footballing reasons. It was made clear to me that my playing time would be significantly reduced should I decide to stay," Wilshere wrote.

Cazorla replied to Wilshere's lengthy Instagram post by encouraging the Englishman to reunite with him in La Liga, before praising Wilshere's ability as a player.
"Super come with me please," Cazorla wrote. "I wish you all the best. You are a great player and top man."
