Historically the most successful and most supported club in Serbia, Red Star famously won the European Cup in 1991 and remain the only Serbian and ex-Yugoslav team to have done so. They are known for their vociferous fanbase, who often set off flares and other pyrotechnics during games .
One unofficial Red Star twitter account described the incident hilariously:
"The celebrations didn't go 100% according to plan because the open top bus caught fire.
