Pep Guardiola has revealed what he will do if Manchester City are charged over allegedly breaking Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.
It comes after Everton were deducted 10 points last week for breaching the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules.
A statement from the league said: "An independent commission has imposed an immediate deduction of 10 points on Everton FC for a breach of the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSRs).
"The Premier League issued a complaint against the club and referred the case to an independent commission earlier this year."
Now Everton's punishment has been confirmed, attention has now switched to Man City after it was reported they were under investigation for allegedly breaching FFP rules over a period of nine seasons.
Speculation has included guessing if City would be relegated if they were found guilty of the alleged 115 charges.
When asked if he would stay at the club should they be punished with relegation, Guardiola said: "I will not consider my future if we are in League One, I will be more likely to stay."
Guardiola also spoke on Everton's sanctions and said that it is impossible to compare the two clubs' FFP affairs.
He added: "I'm not going to say one word about Everton because I don't know the reality of what happened. They are two completely different cases. I know people are saying why don't City go to the Conference but let's wait.
"You read it and we should be relegated of course, but nobody knows. All the people who say it don’t know exactly what happened. I haven’t read it all. But wait, what I said a month ago – if we’ve done something wrong we’ll be punished. After what will be done, I will be here, the case for Everton and I don’t know what happened but it’s a completely different one. That’s why you cannot compare it."
