UK TV watchdog Ofcom has dismissed complaints that football pundit Ian Wright mocked Roy Keane’s accent during ITV's World Cup coverage and said that the "exchange was intended in good humour". Some viewers complained about former England striker on ITV’s World Cup Live coverage of the England versus Croatia semi-final, on July 11th. During the broadcast, Wright mocked how Roy Keane pronounced the word "final". https://twitter.com/IanWright0/status/1017160391011590146 https://twitter.com/IanWright0/status/1017522144220188679 Ofcom assessed the complaints but said that they will not be launching an investigation. "We carefully assessed complaints from viewers who objected to one pundit imitating another’s accent," it said. "However, we found the exchange was intended in good humour."
