Jose Mourinho has hinted at playing Paul Pogba in his best position. Or at least that he was going to.

Pogba missed Manchester United's 2-0 FA Cup win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday with illness, and Scott McTominay took his place in the side. Interestingly, United played a 4-3-3 formation on the day, rather than the 4-2-3-1 formation they have used for most games this season. There have been reports in recent weeks that Pogba isn't happy playing in a two-man midfield, and he has noticeably struggled in this position in United's last two Premier League away games - a 2-0 loss to Tottenham, and a 1-0 loss to Newcastle. However, Mourinho has seemed reluctant to use a 4-3-3 formation, and play Pogba in his preferred position, on the left side of midfield with two more defensively minded players alongside him. The United manager has only used a 4-3-3 on six occasions this season. Yet, it looks like Jose may be planning to use Pogba in his preferred position in a 4-3-3 formation. "Paul was going to play on the left side, as a number eight, in a 4-3-3," he told reporters following Saturday's match. https://twitter.com/blurt2kc/status/965480883011559424 It'll be interesting to see if Mourinho uses Pogba in this position against Sevilla on Wednesday, or Chelsea on Sunday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEvOqBjII8E
