The length of Marcus Rashford's ban has been confirmed by UEFA.
Rashford was shown a straight red card in the 4-3 defeat against Copenhagen for a poorly-timed challenge on Elias Jelert.
United were leading 2-0 at the time however a VAR review spotted that the forward's tackle caught the full back's ankle.
Despite being expected to miss the game against Galatasaray next week, there were fears that Rashford would be ruled out for the remainder of the group stage due to suspension.
A straight red card is an automatic three-game ban according to Premier League rules however UEFA opted to suspend the England international for only one game as they deemed his foul to be nothing more than "rough play".
Erik ten Hag's side are bottom of the group at the bottom and need to win in. Turkey to stand any hope of qualifying for some form of European football after Christmas.
Ten Hag's side have lost three of their opening four group games but could still go second with a win in Istanbul.
