It's been clear for a while now that Manchester City will win be crowned Premier League champions at the end of this season. It would take a spectacular collapse for any other team to steal it from them now.
Pep Guardiola's side extended their lead at the top of the table to 16 points this weekend as they put five past Leicester, while Manchester United were beaten 1-0 by Newcastle United. United remain in second, with Tottenham and Liverpool now breathing down their neck.
Man City now only need to win six of their last 11 matches to clinch the title. Assuming both City and United win their next five matches, City could finish the job against Manchester United on April 7th.
It would be the most satisfying way possible to bring the trophy back to the Etihad not only for the fans, but for Pep Guardiola too. When he and José Mourinho come up against each other, there is always an extra edge to the match.

City will not mind when or where they eventually seal Premier League victory, but doing it in a Manchester derby would certainly make the celebrations even sweeter.
