Seri has a release clause in his contract that allows him to leave for £33m this month, and this has reportedly put United and other clubs on alert. However, the Ivory Coast midfielder may prefer a move to a warmer place than Manchester. Seri suffers from chilblains, a condition that can cause painful and itchy swellings on the skin in cold weather. "When it's cold I need special treatment," he said in the past when asked about a potential move away from Nice.

"I don't see myself playing in a country where it's cold. I hurt everywhere, and I struggle to train."

He's also only five-foot-five, which doesn't make him an ideal fit for Jose Mourinho's team of giants.
